Multiple algorithmic artworks by Assistant Professor Sophia Brueckner will be featured by the New Art Fest in Lisbon, Portugal. For its 3rd edition, the main theme is American Online / Net Generation”, focusing on the digital art of the American continent since the beginning of the internet.

The New Art Fest is an international new media art festival that promotes artistic creativity by stimulating the reflection towards the technology and science transformations in our society.

Brueckner will be speaking as part of the event at 3p on Nov 17 at the Largo da Academia Nacional de Belas Artes, and her works will be exhibited at the National Museum of Natural History and Science from Nov 9‑Nov 30. The exhibition opening will be on Nov 9th at 9p.
