Rachel Friedman Selected to Participate in Harvard Business School's Young American Leaders Program

Rachel Friedman (BFA ’92) has been selected to participate in the Harvard Business School Young American Leaders Program (YALP). The weeklong intensive begins June 21st – June 25th where Rachel will represent Columbus, OH as female business owner/entrepreneur, creative, and U‑M alumna.
The realization that better cross-sector collaboration would be key to generating shared prosperity in American cities sparked a Harvard Business School (HBS) initiative with an unlikely acronym: YALP. Launched in 2015 and convening every June, YALP brings together ten leaders from each of fourteen cities across the country, throwing them into a full-on, nonstop HBS experience, from case discussions to speaker presentations to whiteboard sessions that ask participants to collaborate on solutions to a target issue their city is facing.
