ROCKELMANN& is proud to present PAPER/WORK, a curated show by Andy Holtin. PAPER/WORK is an exhibition exploring the use and place of paper in the work of a group of artists with distinctly diverse practices. Eschewing the traditional ​“works on paper” approach, PAPER/WORK acknowledges that paper is first and foremost a material, one whose accessibility and malleability can render it simultaneously ubiquitous and invisible. The selected works of these artists incorporate paper as substance, as surface, and as an elemental building block of culture, pushing a familiar medium to unfamiliar places.
