Nick Tobier Awarded Faculty Development Grant

Associate Professor Nick Tobier has been awarded a Faculty Development Fund Grant from The Center for Research on Learning and Teaching. The grant supports social entrepreneurship through two courses that Nick has developed in collaboration with the Center for Entrepreneurship/​The College of Engineering and Moses Lee of the William Davidson Institute. The award will be used to expand these interdisciplinary courses as well as to help launch several student-initiated innovations in engaged design work including a produce distribution system, a community car share scheme, and technology-enabled health care and education projects in Africa.
