Mindy Steffen: Exhibition and Artist Talk in Brooklyn

Work by Mindy Steffen (BFA ​’06) is featured in Storyboard to Stars, a solo exhibition on view at Sweet Lorraine Gallery in Brooklyn through August 15, 2025. On July 28, Steffen will be interviewed by animator Pilar Newton-Katz in a live artist talk and conversation.

Cartoonist and illustrator Mindy Steffen (PKA Mindy Indy) invites you to her solo show Storyboard to Stars. See how Mindy blends traditional and digital techniques in this step-by-step process show highlighting the stages of comic creation, from storyboard to finished colors.

An Artist Talk will be held on Monday July 28^th at 6:30pm. Mindy will be interviewed by animator Pilar Newton-Katz in what promises to be a lively and inspiring conversation. Hear behind-the-scenes stories, insights into Mindy’s creative process, and advice for aspiring artists. Audience Q&A to follow.
