Michele Trombley (BFA 1992) assumed the role of art director for Crain’s Automotive News in September 2016. Trombley has been branding events and products, as well as designing materials for the many events the publication hosts, often in conjunction with auto shows around the world. Crain Communications, which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, features over 20 brands delivering news to over 6 million global business leaders. Since 1925, Automotive News has been the go-to publication for the auto industry. Michele had previously worked with magazines such as Print, Array, and Architecture; retailers J.Crew and the Limited Stores; and booksellers Barnes & Noble.
