Melanie Manos Participates in Feminism Teach Out

Stillfrom TO 3 21

On Tuesday March 30, interdisciplinary artist and Stamps Lecturer II Melanie Manos will be a live panelist for the University of Michigan Center for Academic Innovation’s Teach-Out, Feminism: From Origins to Evolution.

Manos, along with Ketra Armstrong, PhD (U‑M School of Kinesiology and Director of the Center for Race and Ethnicity in Sport), will be joined by students from the Gender Consciousness Project, a program where students from the University of Michigan work with girls in local high schools facilitating dialogue around gender, race, and identity. Together, the panel will answer questions about feminism and community work collected from our Teach-Out learners and live from participants.
