Megan LaCroix Launches Citrine Tangerine Debut Collection
Citrine Tangerine, the debut brand collection of handmade jewelry by Megan LaCroix (BFA ‘14), launched online February 14, 2019.
Designed to invigorate the wearer and enhance their personal energy with confidence, the colors and brilliance of this collection will “make you feel as good as you look”. Every piece is woven together in a durable brass wire chain adorned with vibrant and rare beads. Using the ancient technique of wire wrapped chain, Citrine’s designs unite an age-old approach with modern style, producing timeless jewelry. You’ll fall in love when you take a closer look at the detail in every bead and when you put a piece on, you’ll never want to take it off.
LaCroix has designed jewelry since childhood. Citrine, alumni of University of Michigan’s School of Art & Design 2014, creates to leave a positive impact on the world and inspire confidence in all people. She’s shown her work in New York Fashion Week, ArtPrize, and has published multiple fashion editorial catalogues featuring her designs. Citrine’s jewelry went on tour with the ‘Wall of 100 Makers’ for two years showcasing at multiple locations in Detroit, including The Carr Center and The Masonic Temple. Her entire career is centered around building self esteem, spreading confidence, creating an inclusive global beauty standard, and building a sustainable fashion industry in the midwest.
