Matthew and Jake Minor: Graphic Novel Optioned for Feature Film
Brothers and Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design alumni Matthew Minor (BFA ’93) and Jake Minor (BFA ’98) are proud to announce that their graphic novel, No Rest for the Wicked has been adapted as a feature film. The Lionsgate Films production Dead Mans Hand, starring Stephen Dorff, Cole Hauser and Jack Kilmer, will be released in theaters on July 7, 2023.
Matthew, Jake, and Kevin Minor are brothers that operate as the creative studio Universe‑M. They have worked on licensed properties including Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Marvel, D.C., Walking Dead, Deadworld, The Green Hornet, Captain Action and Sheena. They have published original works such as No Rest for the Wicked (Source Point Press 2017), Mega Awesome Notebook (Schiffer Publishing 2019), Peanut & Bosco (Schiffer Publishing 2018) and Amelia’s Story (Schiffer Publishing 2020).
