Marc Sirinsky Named Photo Editor at The New York Times

Marc Sirinsky (BFA ’97) recently accepted a new role as Photo Editor for the marketing department at The New York Times.
Sirinsky began his career over 25 years ago in educational publishing, working with companies like World Book, Harcourt, and Pearson. A few years later, he joined Rodale as Photo Editor for the company’s in-house ad agency, where he worked on brands like Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Prevention, and Runner’s World. He then moved to the company’s book division, where he managed photography on over a dozen bestselling book titles.
Sirinsky then spent 15 years running photography, illustration, and image licensing for the brand and marketing team at The Great Courses. While there, he spearheaded multiple rebrands and oversaw not only in-house visuals, but also creative for the Smithsonian Institution and the Culinary Institute of America.
He was most recently at CoStar Group, where he managed a large team of photographers and videographers in support of the relaunch of Homes.com.
