Maite Iribarren Awarded Moldwin Prize Residency
Stamps student Maite Iribarren has been awarded the Winter 2018 Moldwin Prize Residency.
The Moldwin Prize is a student residency designed in collaboration with students engaged in research practice in an engineering lab. They are an undergraduate research team in the lab of Professor Mark Moldwin, which is currently doing work in the areas of space weather (how the Sun influences the space environment of Earth and society) and magnetic sensor development.
As the artist in residence, Iribarren will work to synthesize what she observes and learns in the lab to create art work inspired by the team’s research.
