Lucy Arai-Abramson Exhibits at Arthur Ross Gallery
Japanese-born artist Lucy Arai (MFA 1983), currently based in California, apprenticed in the practice of sashiko, a decorative stitching process which she re invigorates and applies to handmade paper and mixed media. Her work is featured in an exhibition entitled, In Material: FIBER 2012 at the Arthur Ross Gallery at the University of Pennsylvania, 220 South 34th Street inside the Fisher Fine Arts Building. The exhibition continues through March 25, 2012.
