Leisa Rich: Exhibition, Book Feature, Workshops
Leisa Rich’s (BFA 1982) collaborative installation exhibition with Sixfold Collective, “LAIR”, debuts November 18, 2011. The installation features a net constructed of various recycled and found materials that viewers will be able to walk through; individual art works by the artists responding to the theme will also be featured.

In addition, Leisa is featured in three new books coming out this fall, “NOPLACENESS: Art in the Post-Urban Landscape”, “The Studio Quilt No. 6: State of the Art” and “Modern Sculpture”, and will teach Beyond a Book’s Boundaries and Freeing Motion: Machine Embroidery That Goes Beyond at the Society for Contemporary Craft, Pittsburgh, PA in January of 2012.
