Katie Shulman: Solo Exhibition at C.Y.N.K. Studios

Ropes Of, a solo exhibition of work by Detroit-based artist, organizer, Fiber Club* founder, and Stamps Assistant Director of Fundraising Programs Katie Shulman (BFA ​’10), is on view at Ypsilanti’s C.Y.N.K Studios from April 4 – 18, 2025. The exhibition opens with a reception on Friday, April 4 from 5 – 8 p.m.

This April, Katie Shulman brings us Ropes Of, a solo exhibition transforming our gallery into a Lactating Room: a space filled with unruly sculptures and material milk.

Unlike a lactation room, which is a private space where a mother can nurse and pump, the Lactating Room will welcome anyone who seeks nourishment in softness and abundance.
