Karen Anne Klein: Room for Curiosity

Karen Anne Klein (BFA 1964) has a new blog in which she is chronicling the progress of turning a room in her house into a cabinet of curiosities. It started with a group of drawings that were to look like a cabinet then actually became the front of a cabinet. The empty space inside this piece of furniture has inspired the creation of books and drawings which have migrated onto the shelves and into the drawers along with many small collections of objects. Additional cabinets are in the process of being built and new ideas for wall cabinets and framed works come to me every day.
