John Gutoskey Featured on WEMU
Stamps alumnus John Gutoskey (MFA 2014) was recently featured on WEMU’s Art & Soul show. Gutoskey discussed his upcoming exhibition, Pulse Nightclub 49 Elegies, on view at 22 North in Ypsilanti on June 1st during Pride Fest.
“49 Elegies” is a series made to commemorate – with a monoprint – each of the 49 people massacred at the LQBTQ PULSE nightclub in Orlando, Florida on June 12, 2016.
It will be showing at 22 North in Ypsilanti on June 1st during Pride Fest. Gutoskey said this exhibition helped the artist express his emotional reaction to the shooting.
