IFFY 2022 to Feature Stamps Students & Alums

Stamps students and alumni will be featured during the third season of Independent Film Festival Ypsilanti, which runs June 2 — 4 at the Riverside Arts Center in Downtown Ypsilanti.

Here are the dates and times you can catch Stampers in action:

Thursday, June 2 at 9PM
IFFY Feature: Hamtramck, USA
Razi Jafri’s (MFA ​‘22) feature focuses on life and democracy in America’s first Muslim-majority city, Hamtramck, located next to Detroit, Michigan. Jafri will participate in a Q&A session after the film. 

Friday, June 3 at 9PM
The Underground Picnic, supermix of underground counter cultural films and video art including works by Sally Clegg (MFA ​‘20), Emerson Granillo (MFA ​‘23), and Charli Brissey (U‑M School of Music, Theatre & Dance).

Saturday, June 4 at 9PM
Acoustic Convergence, with Stamps student Grant Emenheiser’s film A Wonderful World.

Stamps Alumna Natalia Rocafuerte (MFA ​‘22) is the festival director, and worked to organize this annual event while completing her masters degree at Stamps.
