IFFY 2022 to Feature Stamps Students & Alums

Stamps students and alumni will be featured during the third season of Independent Film Festival Ypsilanti, which runs June 2 — 4 at the Riverside Arts Center in Downtown Ypsilanti.

Here are the dates and times you can catch Stampers in action:

Thursday, June 2 at 9PM
IFFY Feature: Hamtramck, USA
Razi Jafri’s (MFA 22) feature focuses on life and democracy in America’s first Muslim-majority city, Hamtramck, located next to Detroit, Michigan. Jafri will participate in a Q&A session after the film.

Friday, June 3 at 9PM
The Underground Picnic, supermix of underground counter cultural films and video art including works by Sally Clegg (MFA 20), Emerson Granillo (MFA 23), and Charli Brissey (U‑M School of Music, Theatre & Dance).

Saturday, June 4 at 9PM
Acoustic Convergence, with Stamps student Grant Emenheiser’s film A Wonderful World.

Stamps Alumna Natalia Rocafuerte (MFA 22) is the festival director, and worked to organize this annual event while completing her masters degree at Stamps.
