Re-Search presents the work of three emerging artists rethinking the artist’s “gaze” as a tool for inquiry. Laura Amtower, Trevor King, and Clara McClenon, all MFA students at the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design, aim to observe and discuss the beauty and complexities of human experience by actively searching and experimenting with their surroundings. The resulting work conducts research shaped by family heritage, the passage of time, and the natural world.
