David Chung’s Design Project Opens in DC Area
A traditional Korean pavilion designed by Associate Professor David Chung opened to the public on November 14th, 2010. Since 2007, David Chung has been working with the Korean American Cultural Committee (chaired by Ms. Yi Jeung-hwa) to locate the site and create the designs for a Korean garden in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. The designs were approved by the Northern Virginia regional Parks Authority in 2008 and construction of the pavilion was completed this year.
