Camille Ann Brewer: "Warp and Weft" Commission and Artist Talk

In collaboration with The Shepherd, Fiber Club* has commissioned new works by Detroit-based fiber artists Camille Ann Brewer (MFA ​’94), Rachael Cox, and Cal Navin. The pieces are inspired by the themes explored in Warp and Weft: Technologies within Textiles, an exhibition curated by Allison Glenn.

On May 3, the three finalists will participate in a closing dialogue and artist talk in conversation with Glenn and Katie Pfohl. Together, they will discuss the artists’ work and the overarching themes of Warp and Weft: Technologies within Textiles. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and the talk begins promptly at 11 a.m.
