A&D Alum and Current Students Participate in Art Fair
For the 6th consecutive year, A&D Alum Julie Fremuth (BFA ‘89) is exhibiting her mixed media work in the 2010 Ann Arbor Art Fair. Also included in this year’s fair are A&D undergraduates Sarah Jones (BFA ‘10) and Alyssa Chambo (BFA ‘11) who have been selected to exhibit their work as part of the the Art Fair’s New Art New Artist Program. This program allows college students with smaller bodies of artwork to experience the process of applying to, preparing for, and engaging in a major Art Fair. Five to ten talented university level artists are accepted to display and sell their work in a shared booth with a tent provided by the Fair with mentoring by a Street Art Fair artist(s).
