Release your burdens! They’ll flow downstream with Marzanna!
Artist & Stamps graduate student Michelle Cieloszczyk invites folks to reinterpret a thousand-year-old Slavic cultural tradition about Marzanna (the goddess of winter, disease, and death). Together we will release effigies into Willow Pond, accompanied by Polish folk music. The event will be followed by a reception in the Auditorium of the Matthaei Botanical Gardens.
