Afterparty: November 1st, 10:30 pm — 1 am at Sava’s, featuring Polytope & DJ Bochnasty
The exhibition showcases select pieces of work designed and built by students for past TEDxUofM conferences. It features work from multiple conferences, but focuses on celebrating last year’s conference which challenged the Michigan community to inform//transform their: perceptions, environment, relationships, &c.; their reality.
The TEDxUofM team invites you to explore the space and interact with the works (there’s an LED cube !!!) In the spirit of TED’s motto, we want to encourage (crazy) ideas worth spreading.
TEDxUofM is a University-wide initiative to galvanize the community for an event like no other; filled with inspiration, discovery and excitement. Borrowing template from the world-renowned TED conference, TEDxUofM aims to bring a TED-like experience to the University of Michigan. The vision is to showcase the most fascinating thinkers and doers, the “leaders and best” in Michigan terms, for a stimulating day of presentations, discussions, entertainment and art that will spark new ideas and opportunities across all disciplines.
