On Friday, March 27, join us from 3 – 4:30 p.m. at U‑M’s Detroit Center for the opening reception of Impressions: A Stamps Pre-College Showcase.

Impressions: A Stamps Pre-College Showcase is a juried exhibition featuring ceramic works created by Michigan high school students and teachers.

Presented as part of NCECA’s Volumes Conference in Detroit and hosted at the University of Michigan Detroit Center, the showcase offers a unique national platform for emerging artists to exhibit their creative interpretations in clay. The exhibition highlights diverse voices within the Michigan community and encourages meaningful conversations about resilience, identity, and change through the medium of ceramics. By gathering and displaying these works, Impressions celebrates the expressive potential of clay and the artistic achievements of the next generation of Michigan ceramicists.
