Sept. 17 Julian Schnabel Talk Rescheduled to Nov. 5

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Penny Stamps Speaker Series regrettably has to reschedule their series kick-off event with Julian Schnabel.

Originally scheduled for Thursday, September 17, Schnabel’s talk will now take place on Thursday, November 5 at 5:10 pm in Ann Arbor’s Michigan Theater (603 E. Liberty St.). The Patricia Urquiola talk originally scheduled for November 5 will take place as part of the Winter 2016 Penny Stamps Speaker Series, announced in late November 2015.

In lieu of a Penny Stamps Speaker Series event on Thursday, September 17, Stamps will present a free screening of Julian Schnabel’s film, Miral, in the Michigan Theater. Miral, centered on an orphaned Palestinian girl growing up in the wake of Arab-Israeli war, was directed by Schnabel in 2010.
