Draw inspiration from the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., his historical connections to Detroit, and the national memorial built in his honor. Living the Legacy in the D” transports the sights and sounds of the National Mall to the city of Detroit, recreating the D.C. experience through stunning displays, crisp photographs, and scale models. An exclusive Detroit-area showing, this exhibition offers visitors a rare and exciting glimpse of this powerful monument, and also highlights King’s presence in local history.
