Come experience an immersive childlike space to reflect upon our current political and cultural climate of censored speech. What’s the Magic Word?” is an exhibition created by the students of Gallery As Site For Social Change that seeks to bring warmth, softness, and comfort to a world growing colder. Children’s books are a particular focus of banned content on the local and national level. 

The opening reception on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 6 – 8 p.m. will include coloring sheets and readings from banned children’s & YA books, along with a zine-making workshop.
