About the Instructor

Isabella De la Mora Malvaez is a mixed media artist with extensive experience working within museums, galleries, and creative spaces. Her notable collaborations include the Jumex Contemporary Art Museum in Mexico City and Stamps Gallery at the University of Michigan. After earning her BFA, Isabella fully immersed herself in her artistic practice while also gaining valuable expertise in artistic programming, curation, installation, and public engagement. Her diverse background spans both institutional and independent creative spaces, where she has contributed to the development and execution of dynamic art experiences.

In addition to her work in the arts, Isabella is passionate about wellness and movement. She became certified in mat Pilates in 2017 and began teaching Inferno Hot Pilates at Hot Yoga Ann Arbor earlier this year. Her commitment to well-being informs her creative practice, often inspiring a mindful and embodied approach to art-making and community engagement.
