The Stamps School’s annual Undergraduate Juried Exhibition, a showcase of the best work produced by Stamps undergraduate students, is on view Friday, November 10-Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the Stamps Gallery (201 S. Division St.). A highly anticipated Stamps School tradition, the Undergraduate Juried Exhibition provides an opportunity for the school to support students whose creative work is recognized as exceptional by invited jurors, with thousands of dollars in awards announced at the exhibition reception on Friday, November 10 from 6 – 8 pm. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. 

Jurors

Anne-Marie Kim (BFA 2004) is a graphic, web, and spatial designer. She is the owner of Genui Forma, a graphic and web design company that works with entrepreneurs to launch their businesses, and established companies to build upon their marketing & advertising. She also serves as the Creative Director for Continental, developing spatial design solutions for the dining and micro market locations of clients such as Google, Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, and Quicken Loans.

Samara Pearlstein (BFA 2008) is an artist, administrator, and educator based in the Boston area. She received an an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 2014. She has banded birds, run a college internship program, and worked as a scientific illustrator, a sports photographer, and a botanical surveyor, among other things. She is the current Gallery Director for the Art Department at Wellesley College.

Ron Watters (BFA 2001) is a product designer, artist, educator, and Detroiter. He is the owner and founder of One Custom City, a screen-printing business that merges craft, creativity, and a deep connection to community, and SCIDE Design (Systems Combining Industrial Design and Engineering). Ron has taught socially-minded entrepreneurship and graphic design as an instructor with Co.Open and Detroit Future Media (sponsored projects of Allied Media Projects), and is a member of the Move the Crowd True+Paid+Good Academy, a rigorous entrepreneurial training founded by Rha Goddess to create a conscious entrepreneurial movement dedicated to re-imagining work.“
