Work positions available in the Stamps Print Media’s Computer Lab

The student should be familiar with Photoshop software. All other training will be provided. Duties include assisting Stamps students using the Epson inkjet printers in the lab to print their assignments following suggested procedures. Other tasks include maintaining equipment in the lab (change inkjet cartridges as needed, perform cleaning-cycles on printers, etc) and providing assistance to the coordinator where needed.  All training for expected tasks will be provided by the coordinator.

Payrate is $10/hr.

As an instruction Technology consultant, you’ll be responsible for:
Staffing a service point in the Graduate Library and/or Shapiro Library.
Consulting with students, faculty, and staff as they learn technologies related to teaching and learning.
Assisting people with scanning, video editing, and poster printing equipment.
Other projects as assigned.

Call for Sculpture

The Richard and Pam Salmon Sculpture Competition, a juried exhibition of outdoor sculpture, is hosted by the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts.  The yearly exhibit of 12-15 large-scale sculptures in the park is in cooperation with the City of San Angelo Public Art Commission and the City government. Sunken Garden Park (700 Block S. Abe Street/W. Avenue D) includes a formal sunken garden area where, spring through fall, canna and other flower displays are featured. The also park includes large open areas, landscaped groves and a walking and jogging track, as well as handsome retaining walls, stairs, and other stonework created by the WPA in the 1930’s. The large-scale sculptures enhance an already beautiful spot, and add yet another attraction to San Angelo’s wonderful River Walk.

Freelance Logo/Art/Design Gig

An Ann Arbor-based startup website that will be producing glamour and lifestyle content to college students and highlighting talented students of all kinds is looking to hire a student artist to paint or draw a large rendition of our website name for a promotional video being shot in August. We will record the work being completed and then speed it up for the video. We are looking for a graffiti-like style so use of spray paint might be ideal but is not required. It simply must be big, bold, and colorful. We are also looking for potential logo submissions. We want it to be sleek, simple, and sexy.
