Biography
Curriculum Vitae- Bachelor of Fine Arts (Animation and Digital Media), College for Creative Studies, 2008
Matthew brings a wide range of knowledge to help support many forms of digital and time based work. Along with maintaining the school’s Video Lab, he also assists with digital photography, design, live action video, and animation.
Matthew has worked extensively with Detroit’s burgeoning creative community. He has organized many group shows around the city including more than 70 artists from Detroit and around the country. Matthew has shown his work at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Detroit Artist Market, Izzy’s Raw Art, and many other venues around the city. He looks forward to helping continue to give the Arts a strong foothold in Detroit while bridging connections between Detroit and Ann Arbor.
Matthew’s duties include helping the students to better understand the technical aspects of their digital work so they can use that knowledge to bring their ideas to life. He also has experience with traditional animation, stop motion puppets, stereoscopic video, and many other helpful tools for time based media.
