Virtual Info sessions for first-year prospective students who want to understand the basics of a Stamps degree.

Once you’ve attended an Info Session, keep the conversation rolling with an Individual Meeting with members of our admissions team.

Step 3: Portfolio Prep

At Stamps, 50% of your admissions decision is based on your portfolio.

Start Here: Get Acquainted

Information Session

Join us for an hour-long virtual session which includes an information presentation and Q&A with current students and the admissions team. Info sessions take place each week on Wednesdays from 12-1pm (Eastern time). Registration is required - meeting information will be sent via email to all registrants.

Once you’ve attended an Info Session, keep the conversation rolling with an individual meeting:

Individual Meetings

Chat with a member of our admissions team for an extended, 30-minute session. During this time, you’ll learn more about the Stamps experience and have your specific questions addressed. Informal feedback on portfolios submitted in advance can be part of this experience too, if desired. Registration is required - appointment information will be sent via email to all registrants.

Portfolio Prep

National Portfolio Days

Explore the nation’s best colleges of art and design and meet with Stamps representatives, who will provide 10-minute portfolio reviews, discuss our unique curriculum, and answer questions about professional careers in art. Showing your work early can help you acquire important information about organizing and presenting your portfolio for future admission consideration. High school students, parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and college transfer students are encouraged to attend.

Stamps representatives will be participating in the following NPD Spring events for undergraduate applicants.

  • Saturday, April 10 - 9am-1pm Eastern
  • Friday, May 7th - 11am-5pm Eastern

Prep Your Portfolio for NPD

Your portfolio should showcase the best work you are making now, and can include finished pieces, work in progress, and sketchbooks. Make sure to photograph your work with intention and have your files ready to share with us digitally. Watch the video below for inside information on the kinds of work we like to see and tips on how to make your portfolio stand out.
