Melissa Herter

As Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations, Melissa works with Stamps alumni, donors, parents, and friends to secure donations to support the School's students, faculty, and programs. Her expertise lies in fundraising and alumni engagement, including annual giving, stewardship, and event outreach. Melissa has worked in the fundraising field for the last eight years, first at U-M's Office of University Development and then at the Rackham Graduate School. Prior to landing in development, she worked in human resources for a large retail company in the Midwest. As a first-gen college graduate, Melissa is passionate about making a difference for the next generation of students at Michigan.
