Grace is a graduate of the Stamps School and brings to the role of Advisor a passion for supporting student success, a deep knowledge of our programs and curricula, and a commitment to advocating for access and success for underrepresented students. During her time as a UM student, Grace served as a peer advisor, orientation leader and mentor in Stamps and also held mentor and program assistant positions in Living ArtsEngine and Gifts of Art. In 2019, Grace was nominated for the Michigan Difference Student Leadership Award for her undergraduate student mentorship work.
As an Academic Advisor, Grace assists students in making appropriate educational choices and decisions; monitors student progress; and counsels students on academic programs and policies. She is involved in overseeing the peer advising program and is passionate about the role of mentors in student success. As an artist herself, she is attuned to the concerns of artists and designers and has a unique insight into the Stamps curriculum from her personal experiences.
