Biography

Veronica Falandino is a highly-experienced enrollment management professional and team leader, with a broad range of skills and knowledge, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. Falandino joined Stamps in Fall 2019 to oversee admissions and recruiting for Stamps undergraduate programs following 11 years at the UM School of Information, where she held increasingly-responsible positions within the school's admissions and student affairs structure. Most recently, Falandino served as UMSI's Director of Enrollment Management, with oversight of recruiting and admissions, student financials, registration and curriculum, student life, and academic success. In addition to overseeing recruiting and admissions at the masters and doctoral level, Falandino has sought and developed depth of experience in undergraduate recruiting. She has served in the Alumni Admissions Representative Program for her alma mater, Carleton College, and is currently a National Team Lead for the organization, as well as the Michigan Lead.

Her work in diversity, equity, and inclusion has been recognized within and outside the university, with awards from the University of Michigan and the Michigan chapter of the American College Personnel Association. Falandino’s consistent thread throughout her work is to identify, understand, and remove barriers to access and success for marginalized students. Falandino is thrilled to bring her inclusive orientation to the Stamps community, and to have the opportunity to work alongside artists and designers!

Most of Falandino’s current creative practice comes in the form of crayons, glitter, or Legos at the kitchen table with her family. She lives for a great audiobook, and is slowly adjusting to life with a new puppy in the house.
