Curriculum Vitae

Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA), University of Washington, Seattle, WA

Jennifer is a landscape architect with over 11 years of experience in the design and construction of urban spaces at landscape architecture and urban design firms in Southern California, New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle. As a project manager, she has been instrumental in leading design teams on projects such as Amazon’s Block 19 development (HQ1), Market Commons (at Twitter HQ) in San Francisco, and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and the South Bronx Greenway projects in New York City.

Most recently, she has worked at the Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) in Washington, D.C. where she applied her experience and knowledge from design practice to develop their leadership and scholarships programs. Jennifer focused on outreach and engagement with the landscape architecture community from students and emerging professionals to senior-level leadership both domestically and internationally. At LAF, Jennifer led the successful pilot of the first year of the LAF Fellowship for Innovation and Leadership, a year-long fellowship opportunity for landscape architects to foster ideas that have the potential for transformational change in the environment, humanity, and the profession.

As work in the public realm becomes increasingly complex, Jennifer is looking forward to leverage her MDes experience to explore new forms of collaboration and design research methods to improve the social and environmental equity of our cities.
