Eric joined the Stamps School development staff in May 2013. As Associate Director of Development and Alumni Relations, Eric is responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting major gift prospects and helping implement the School’s long-term and short-term fundraising goals.
Eric has worked in development for 12 years. Most recently, he served as a development officer and foundation grants officer at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, with primary focus on supporting fundraising efforts for the Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts. Prior to joining the development team at Webster, he served as development director of The Haven of Grace in St. Louis, a shelter for young, homeless, pregnant women, and earlier as a development associate at the Pine Street Inn in Boston, the largest resource for homeless men and women in New England.
A published poet, Eric received an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College, and BA in history and creative writing from Miami University (Ohio). In addition, he completed a Community Arts Training Institute Fellowship at the St. Louis Regional Arts Commission, which fosters partnerships among artists, educators, social workers, and community activists to create relevant arts programs in community settings.
