Brynn Higgins-Stirrup is currently an MFA candidate in the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan working in drawing and sculpture. Recently her work has been exhibited at Transmitter Gallery in Brooklyn, NY, Truck Contemporary in Calgary, AB, and Critical Distance in Toronto, ON. Brynn has exhibited across Canada, the United States, and Europe in artist run spaces, fairs, and galleries such as Forest City Gallery in London, ON and Bucharest Arts Week in Bucharest, Romania.

In 2016 she was awarded an emerging visual artist grant by the Ontario Arts Council. She has attended residency programs at Anderson Ranch (Snowmass, CO), the Banff Centre for the Arts (Banff, AB), YYZ Artists Outlet (Toronto, ON) and the Wassaic Project (Wassaic, NY). In 2017, she was a recipient of the Smucker Wagstaff Scholarship Award, Rackham Summer Award, and the Anderson Ranch Center for the Arts Scholarship.
