Stamps School of Art & Design, has been appointed to serve on a panel that evaluates the quality of all research and creative practice in Hong Kong universities, encouraging world-class research and promoting excellence. Organized by University Grants Committee (UGC), the Hong Kong Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) will take place in 2020.

Prior to her time at the Stamps School, Prophet held faculty positions at Goldsmiths College, University of London; City University, Hong Kong (where she was Associate Dean for Research); and University of Westminster, London. This will be the sixth RAE conducted to date. Past efforts occurred in 1993, 1996, 1999, 2006, and 2014.
