We Both Say Amen

Marcella Janush-Kulchitsky (BFA 1986)

Marcella Janush-Kulchitsky has been an on the faculty at the American Unviersity of Kuwait as an Assistant Professor in the Art + Graphic Design Department. Prior to her academic appointments, she worked as a designer, art director and creative director in the private and non-profit sectors in the Washington, DC area specializing in branding, annual report design, environmental and wayfinding design systems, magazine and book design. She has lectured at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and was a founding Board Member of the Middle East Design Educators Association | MEDEA in 2012. Professor Kulchitsky received her BFA from the University of Michigan, School of Arts in Ann Arbor, MI, and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts at Boston University, Boston, MA. Professor Kulchitsky recently completed a book project with an author in Doha, Qatar. The book, entitled, We Both Say Amen, is a children’s book which identifies common features of Islam and Christianity. Professor Kulchitsky designed and illustrated the book.
