Marisa Diamond (BFA Interarts 2017)
Marisa Diamond currently resides in St. Louis, MO, where she works at Circus Harmony. With a deep interdisciplinary background, Marisa has a unique breadth of skills and experience, which is how she landed in St. Louis with Circus Harmony inside the City Museum. Her IP at Stamps was an exploration and performance of circus arts and education, leading to her current employment. Circus Harmony is a non-profit social circus organization that uses circus arts to motivate social change. The pictured youth are two of the students and performers that Marisa has the honor of working with on a daily basis. They have recently created a juggling duo that they plan to compete with. Apart from circus arts, Marisa is an accomplished filmmaker, graphic designer, and performing artist.
This work is featured as part of Future Former: An Exhibition of Alumni Work. This exhibition honors the creative work and careers of all Stamps School alumni, creates an aspirational connection between generations of U-M artists and designers and current Stamps students, and inspires reflection during the university's Bicentennial year.
