Sharanya Pai: Impact News

Impact News

Sharanya Pai

Impact News App is a conceptual IOS app that increases access to comprehensive information about world crises and conflicts. through intentional user experience design. Currently, information about World Crises are dispersed through numerous sources; through visual design practices Impact News aggregates a variety of local new sources that range in language, medium, and viewpoint. Impact News creates a unique holistic platform that enables the user to navigate themselves through the complexity of foreign and domestic discourse. The dynamic design of the app is centralized through interactive and fluid cartography interfaces that enable the user to visually make connections between state, domestic, international, and NGO actors. Through user interface design, Impact News will offer a more nuanced view of the relationships between the facts and actors, expanding the greater discourse for solutions that cater to the localized aspects and shifting nature of global crises
