Flesh of the Planet
"Flesh of the Planet" is a series of abstract paintings that examine the sublime in nature by connecting landscapes, human body structures and physiological phenomena. The five paintings are inspired by the memoirs of great explorers as well as an urge to take a peek inside the colossal body of our planet. I'm interested in evoking the forgotten fear and worship of the overwhelming power of nature.
