A Carnival Of Lights
DuWaine Hoy, Jr. (BSDes 1966)
The northern lights convey a sense of being at the very edge of the world and getting a rare glimpse into the endless universe that we are all just a tiny part of.
Space is not empty! The earth's magnetic fields shield us from deadly radiation and particles from violent storms on the sun. These deadly rays are reflected back into space and keep us from burning to a crisp while providing us with the beautiful and mysterious Aurora Borealis!
