Please join us virtually for an Artist Talk by U‑M students who have entered the inaugural Art & Design competition to create an award for the recipient of the James S. Jackson Distinguished Career Award for Diversity Scholarship .
The winning creation will be announced at the Artist Talk and will be presented later to Arline Geronimus, Professor of Health Behavior and Health Education, recipient of the James S. Jackson Award.
The artists will dialogue about their inspiration and perspectives on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and how the spirit of the James S. Jackson award is reflected in their creations. Endi Poskovic, Professor of Art and Design, will moderate the Artist Talk.
