Brightmoor Maker Space
In collaboration with Detroit Community Schools, the Stamps School of Art & Design led a crowdsourcing campaign to transform a vacant 3,200 square-foot building on the campus of the Detroit Community Schools into a resource-rich incubator for creative skill development and entrepreneurial initiatives.
The space serves Detroit Community Schools students, alumni, and the Brightmoor neighborhood at large. As a key player in the school’s Detroit Connections program, the Brightmoor Maker Space provides new curricular collaborations for Stamps students.
