Sweet Heather Anne is a custom cake boutique in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Our desserts are hand-crafted with local ingredients and an artistic eye.  We specialize in sculptural event cakes, unique buttercream cakes, and small bites to accompany them.  We are passionate about design, and work hard to keep pushing the boundaries of our craft.

Baking and Decorating Assistant

We are seeking a new member of our team.  While it would be ideal that our new baking and decorating assistant has kitchen experience, an inclination towards art, and an enthusiasm for baking, above all we’re looking for a motivated, creative problem-solver that will pitch-in when needed and wants to grow with the company.

We are seeking a baking intern for the 2018 Wedding Season.  This intern will work closely with Heather and our head baker to execute our weekly dessert orders.  While baking experience is a plus, this position is great for anyone who is eager to work hard and learn the basics of baking in a professional bakery.

Production Assistant for Parvum Opus

Our business is growing and we’re seeking help from individuals experienced in the book arts and meticulous in their craft to assist in fabricating our line of desk accessories and decorative objects. 

Must be experienced with bookbinding and box-making.

Our studio is located in Birmingham, MI and we’d be looking for help one to two days per week to start.

Graphic Designer for Center for Socially Engaged Design

The Center for Socially Engaged Design (C-­SED) seeks a student skilled in graphic design and information visualization to help us convey our mission, values, and services in print and web content that aligns with our brand identity.

The graphic design and information visualization intern will support the C-SED team with a variety of projects that vary in scope and deadline.  The student will work with the C­-SED Assistant Director to align work with the C-SED brand identity. 

Examples of past projects include promotional postcards about C-SED services, graphics to visualize metrics, large format posters, templates for newsletters and PowerPoint presentations, and digital screen signage.  Current branding and information about the Center may be viewed on our website:
