The Michigan Academy for the Development of Entrepreneurs (MADE) is a recently-launched nonprofit, created through the collaboration of the William Davidson Institute, Zell Laurie Institute & Aparajitha Foundations (an organization in Madurai, India). Our mission is to provide tools, resources & coaching to organizations supporting entrepreneurs in emerging economies.
We need a logo for our website & branded materials.
We’d love to work with someone (or a small group of students) who could work with us to develop a vision & then design a couple of logos for us to review. Ultimately, we hope to have a final logo by the end of the semester in April.
As a new nonprofit, unfortunately, we cannot pay for this work.
Please email Nancy McDermott at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. Include a small blurb about your experience in graphic design and samples of your work.
Bill Frazier, an MBA student at UM, has started a new business and is looking for help with website and logo design. He is competing in the Michigan Business Challenge for his dog leash startup so the chosen designer must love dogs!
Please send your resume and link to portfolio to email@example.com by January 25, 2018
Pay is $10- $15/hr depending on experience/expertise

An MD scientist in the Division of Rheumatology seeks a talented art student or team of art students to create and build a realistic anatomical model prototype to specification.
The model would be small and portable, and fit inside a small case. The main focus of the model should be on its realistic texture, which is of critical importance; even more so than its visual characteristics. It would need to be able to be reproduced for use by rheumatologists all over the world, ultimately. The student or team of students would work closely with the MD scientist, both in office and in clinic to meet with patients in order to learn about the required texture of the model.
The project should be successfully completed within a semester and would be completed for compensation of $12.00/hour.
More details regarding the project can be disclosed upon executed signature on a mutual non-disclosure agreement.
Please contact Jody Fisher, Program Manager, for more detail.
