Do you want your masterpiece displayed in Pierpont Commons for all North Campus to see? This is an especially good time since the Michigan Union will be closed for the next 2 years and this closure will vastly increase visitors to North Campus for orientations and other events.
The Pierpont Commons is seeking new student art to display throughout the building. All media is eligible for consideration.
You can apply by emailing images and descriptions of your work to email@example.com by April 4, 2018.
If the Committee chooses your work, you will be contacted regarding the venue and the duration it will be displayed.

The Burke Artist Residency Award (BARA) is a one-month residency scholarship at Second Sight in Franklinton. Second Sight is a community-based visual arts organization. Their mission is to encourage experimentation, foster imagination, and spark conversation.
ELIGIBILITY: Awarded applicant will be female/female-identifying/non-gender conforming, and strong preference given to artists of color or indigenous background. Eligibility will also favor time-based or new media works or practices.
APPLICATION: To be considered for this residency-month scholarship, please send CV, website link and EITHER 4 links to video documentation (the committee will only view the first 5 minutes of any submitted video) OR 6-8 images of past work relevant to your practice.

Entry forms for the 2018 edition of the annual Saginaw Township State of the Arts Exhibition are now available.
This annual event is hosted by the Saginaw Township Art In Public Places Committee. This is a juried exhibition with cash prizes totaling approximately $4,000 underwritten by a variety of local, regional and statewide sponsors.
Registration is open to all Michigan artists, 18 years or older, working in all media, except photography and digital imagery. The registration deadline is April 6, 2018, post marked the deadline date.
Artists must submit their art work for jurying on Friday, April 13th or Saturday, April 14th (12-5 pm), or earlier by appointment.
The Art Exhibit will commence on April 22nd with the Exhibition to run through May 25th.

The Williamston ArtFest is seeking artists for this year’s event on July 28, 2018.
Artists will participate in a day-long festival which includes music and dance in McCormick Park on the beautiful Red Cedar River, one block north of the downtown Williamston intersection. Additionally, there will be a children’s activity area, demonstrations and shady areas for just enjoying the atmosphere. Williamston’s McCormick Park has been redesigned to be handicapped accessible and boasts a band shell, blacktopped paths, rain garden, permanent ash wood sculptures and designated recreational areas. This festival attracts art patrons from all over Mid-Michigan.
The Artist-in-Residence program at Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is open to artists and artisans whose work can be influenced by this unique northern wilderness setting. It offers writers, composers and all visual and performing artists and artisans the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Porkies and express it through their particular art form.

Gifts of Art is seeking submissions of original art drawings for individual pages in a new coloring book for adult patients and guests of University Hospitals, reflecting the theme, “I’D RATHER BE…”
The 32 page coloring book will contain drawings submitted by various artists through this invitational call, and will be given free of charge to patients at the University of Michigan Hospitals, along with a free box of 24 crayons.
The Adrian International Film Festival is excited to bring the first ever film festival to downtown Adrian, Michigan.
The historic town will prove as the perfect location to showcase filmmakers of all kinds by bringing together the best of storytelling, press, industry, and film enthusiasts from around the world for a two-day celebration.
