National Portfolio Days
National Portfolio Day events are held from September to January across North America. Explore the nation’s best colleges of art and design - all in one place - and meet with Stamps representatives, who will provide 10-15 minute portfolio reviews, discuss our unique curriculum, and answer questions about professional careers in art. High school students, parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and college transfer students are encouraged to attend.
A National Portfolio Day can be the first step in investigating art schools and early college programs, or a perfect way for prospective students to introduce themselves and their work to Stamps.
Showing your work early can help you acquire important information about organizing and presenting your portfolio for future admission consideration.
All Portfolio Day events are free, open to the public and do not require pre-registration. Learn more about The National Portfolio Day Association (NPDA) at portfolioday.net.
Your portfolio should showcase the best work you are making now, and can include finished pieces, work in progress, and sketchbooks. Don't spend time and money matting or framing your work, or worrying about presentation; the work itself is what is of interest to us. Be sure to curate your portfolio to include your strongest 12-15 pieces. If you will share your portfolio with us digitally, make sure to bring a viewing device (laptop, tablet, etc).
